On his syndicated radio show, MSNBC host Ed Schultz called Laura Ingraham a "Right-wing slut."

Why does MSNBC give someone like Ed Schultz, good buddy of Chris Larson, a platform?
There's a problem when an outlet like MSNBC is willing to tolerate its hosts denigrating women like that.
Does MSNBC really want Ed Schultz to be on its team?
Do Brian Williams and NBC News approve of the MSNBC extremists dragging down the credibility of the NBC News brand?
I guess it doesn't matter.

UPDATE: MSNBC suspends Schultz for calling Ingraham a 'slut'MSNBC has suspended Ed Schultz, host of the “The Ed Show,” for one week without pay for calling conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham a ‘right-wing slut’ on his syndicated radio program Tuesday.
“Remarks of this nature are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” MSNBC said in a statement.
MSNBC said Schultz will address the remarks on his show Wednesday night, and begin his leave immediately afterward. He will return on June 6th.
“MSNBC management met with Ed Schultz this afternoon and accepted his offer to take one week of unpaid leave for the remarks he made yesterday on his radio program,” MSNBC said.
MSNBC should fire Schultz.
Why would management want him to be one the main faces of the network?
MSNBC/NBC News must get its act together.

Just because a man was carrying a purse in a Wauwatosa grocery store, a security guard considered him "suspicious."
Apparently, a man can't walk around with a purse, or murse, without being deemed a potential crook.
Is that wrong?
Would a woman with a large leather purse receive the same scrutiny?
From WauwatosaNOW: Security guards are trained to spot suspicious activity. At Pick 'n Save on State Street a man walking through the store with a large leather purse got the staff's attention.
According to a Wauwatosa police report:
A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was seen putting a bottle of liquor in the purse at 5:41 p.m. Friday. At the checkout, he paid for a salad but not the alcohol.
A security guard tried to stop him but he became combative and tried to head-butt the guard in the face.
A search of his purse turned up a steak knife with a five-inch blade, a hammer and 2.6 grams of marijuana.
He was on probation for drug and weapons charges.
The man was arrested for retail theft, carrying a concealed weapon, marijuana possession and violating probation.
The security guard was right this time. Because he profiled, he caught a criminal.
The man with the murse was up to no good. He not only was shoplifting, like Wisconsin state senator Democrat Chris Larson, but he had a lot in his murse that he shouldn't have had, like weapons and pot.
The head-butt was not a good idea. It only made matters worse.
This crook gives men with purses a bad name.
What a stunning turn of events!
People/protesters were upset that they ALL couldn't speak at the budget hearing held at State Fair Park yesterday.
They started chanting, "SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!"
Where have I heard that before?
For one, I heard the Democrats in the Wisconsin State Assembly scream it.
From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:It was the third of four hearings around the state held by the Legislature's Joint Finance Committee on Walker's proposed budget. And like earlier hearings in Stevens Point and Superior, the turnout was in the hundreds, rather than the thousands that some expected.
Only hundreds, not thousands?
Is the movement losing steam?In all, about 270 speakers signed up before registrations to speak were cut off about 12:30 p.m., according to Ted Blazel, Wisconsin Senate sergeant of arms.
Though committee co-chairs Rep. Robin Vos (R-Burlington) and Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) had said they planned to end the meeting by 6 p.m. - a plan that drew criticism from Democrats - testimony was allowed into the early evening, and everyone who signed up to speak had done so by 6:30.
A crowd of hundreds of people who had rallied outside the expo center came in late demanding to speak, but they had not registered by the noontime cutoff, and Vos adjourned the meeting after hearing from all of those who registered. As he and Republican legislators left the room, there were shouts of "let us speak" and "shame."
Vos said he had to end the meeting because he was scheduled to attend a Wisconsin Conservation Congress meeting in his district.
No hearing would have been long enough to satisfy the Democrats and their union allies.
It was guaranteed that they would complain about not being heard.
This "SHAME, SHAME, SHAME" chant is getting to be a joke.
Their rallying cry is akin to a tantrum that's lost its effectiveness, like when the parent simply ignores the screaming child and he finally quiets down.
Acting with some decorum would be a smarter move. Calm and controlled is better than crazed.
As Rep. Robin Vos said, "While many people wanted to speak, and we gave an opportunity to several hundred, many more are going to be able to testify through written communication or electronic."
He's absolutely right.
Time is finite. It's unreasonable to expect public forums to go on indefinitely. Everyone who wants to speak can't always be accommodated. That's not trampling on democracy. It's what we call the earthly limits of time.
Citizens do have other ways of communicating their concerns to elected officials.
Back when Russ Feingold held elected office, he didn't allow his listening sessions to go on forever. The former senator had a strict policy - "up to an hour." Read the rules here. Dems didn't complain then. The union thugs didn't erupt.
Of course, Democrats Chris Larson and Lena Taylor had their lines rehearsed. Whenever the hearing ended, they would object. The chants would begin. The fists would be raised.
Larson and Taylor would ratchet up the rhetoric once again.

Like that bit of theatrics was just spontaneous. Sure.

After Tuesday night’s Wisconsin Supreme Court election, a computer error in heavily Republican Waukesha County failed to send election results for the entire City of Brookfield to the Associated Press. The error, revealed today, would give incumbent Supreme Court Justice David Prosser a net 7,381 votes against his challenger, attorney Joanne Kloppenburg. On Wednesday, Kloppenburg declared victory after the AP reported she finished the election with a 204-vote lead, out of nearly 1.5 million votes cast.
On election night, AP results showed a turnout of 110,000 voters in Waukesha County — well short of the 180,000 voters that turned out last November, and 42 percent of the county’s total turnout. By comparison, nearly 90 percent of Dane County voters who cast a ballot in November turned out to vote for Kloppenburg.
Prior to the election, Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus was heavily criticized for her decision to keep the county results on an antiquated personal computer, rather than upgrade to a new data system being utilized statewide. Nickolaus cited security concerns for keeping the data herself — yet when she reported the data, it did not include the City of Brookfield, whose residents cast nearly 14,000 votes.

Naturally.From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:In a political bombshell, the clerk in a Republican stronghold is set to release new vote totals giving 7,500 votes in the state Supreme Court race back toward Justice David Prosser, swinging the race significantly in his favor.
The Waukesha County clerk's office has told state elections officials that they will be adjusting the vote totals to give incumbent David Prosser more than 7,000 new votes, said Mike Haas, staff attorney for the state Government Accountability Board.
"Waukesha will be adjusting their vote totals by 14,000," Haas said the Accountability Board was told.
The numbers will add some 11,000 votes for Prosser and some 3,000 for Kloppenburg, he said.
The new numbers may provide some clarity to a race that had appeared to be headed toward the first statewide recount in two decades and provided a new surprise for a state that had already faced two months of chaotic politics.

These people would only be considered folk heroes by seriously twisted individuals.
They ran from their responsibilities. They attempted to block the will of the people by overturning the results of the November 2010 elections.
If you don't get what's wrong with that, odds are you live in Madison or you're a union boss or you're a Leftist or you're Obama.
